Advanced Chat Scenarios

Provision’s chat also supports complex, scenario-based questions — ideal for operational or legal evaluations.

Example 1: Owner-Caused Delay

Prompt“I’m the contractor. During construction, there is a delay caused by the owner. What is my recourse?”

Provision may:

  • Point to Force Majeure if applicable.
  • Highlight adjustment of completion dates clauses.
  • Reference standby compensation sections for right-of-way issues.

Example 2: Weather Delay

Prompt“There has been a delay due to bad weather. What do we, the contractor, do?”
Provision might respond:

  • Determine if it qualifies under delay clauses.
  • Cite: “According to Section 1.2.39.1, you may request an adjustment to the completion date due to inclement weather.”

Example 3: During Project Pursuit

You can also use chat to validate contractual positions during pursuit:

  • Ask scenario-based questions to uncover hidden risks.
  • Share flagged sections with your team proactively.

Highlight & Share Insights

When you find something important:

  1. Highlight a section in the document.
  2. Click “Comment”, write your note (e.g., “This is important”).
  3. Label it as a high priority.
  4. When exporting, your team will see it as flagged.
